Clockwyze Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the Clockwyze mobile application (package com.depzilla.clockwyze), an employee timekeeping and daily-time-record (DTR) system operated by Depzilla Corp. Clockwyze is a workplace tool: it is provided to employees of Depzilla Corp. and of participating employer companies as part of their employment. Your employer determines what workforce data is processed; Depzilla Corp. operates the platform that processes it.
Information We Collect
Employment and profile information
- Name, employee number, position, and the company (tenant) you belong to
- Contact details and address (self-service fields you can edit)
- Profile photo (stored in a private bucket, shown via signed URLs)
Attendance and schedule data
- Clock-in and clock-out events, timestamped by our servers (never by your phone's clock)
- Your assigned shift schedule, worked hours, lateness, and absence, measured against that schedule
- Pay-period attendance summaries used by your employer for payroll
Location data
- Your device location is checked only at the moment you clock in or clock out, and only to verify whether you are inside your workplace's geofence
- The result of that check is recorded with the punch
- Clockwyze does not track your location continuously and does not collect location in the background
- On work-from-home days, no location check is performed at all
Photos
- A live photo you take when filing a manual time-correction request, used as evidence for manager review
- Screenshots you optionally attach to support tickets
Device and security data
- A stable device identifier (Android ID / iOS identifierForVendor) used to bind your account to your registered phone, so no one else can clock in as you
- Security and error logs generated when the app or its backend fails
Requests you file
- Leave requests (dates, leave type, status) and leave balances
- Cash-advance requests (amount, purpose, status)
- Support tickets and their contents
Biometric Data — On-Device Only
Every clock-in and clock-out is confirmed with your phone's fingerprint or face unlock. This confirmation is performed entirely by your device's operating system. Clockwyze never receives, collects, transmits, or stores your fingerprint, face data, or any other biometric information. We only receive the operating system's yes/no answer that the confirmation succeeded.
How We Use Your Information
- Record your attendance and produce your daily time record for payroll
- Show you your shift schedule, holidays, and pay-period summaries
- Process the leave, cash-advance, time-correction, and support requests you file
- Prevent attendance fraud (device binding, biometric confirmation, geofence checks, trusted server time)
- Notify you of schedule changes, upcoming holidays, and decisions on your requests
- Maintain the security and reliability of the service
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use Clockwyze data for advertising.
Legal Basis
We process this data to perform timekeeping, scheduling, and workforce-administration functions on behalf of your employer; to comply with Philippine labor, payroll, and tax obligations; and in the legitimate interest of keeping attendance records accurate and fraud-resistant. Processing is carried out in accordance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules.
Who Can See Your Data
- You — the app shows you only your own records, enforced at the database level (row-level security)
- Your employer's HR staff and managers — they administer employees, schedules, and approvals for their own company only, including the evidence photo and location result on a manual time-correction request
- Depzilla Corp. personnel who operate and support the platform, on a need-to-know basis
Service Providers
Clockwyze runs on infrastructure provided by Supabase (database, storage, and authentication) and Google Cloud (application hosting), hosted in the Asia-Southeast region. These providers process data on our behalf under their respective data-processing agreements and do not use it for their own purposes.
Data Retention
Attendance, leave, cash-advance, and related payroll records are employment records. They are retained for as long as Philippine labor and tax regulations require your employer to keep them, even after you stop using the app. Other data — your login, device binding, profile photo, and support attachments — is deleted when your account is deleted. See Delete your Clockwyze account for exactly what is deleted and what must be kept.
Your Rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you may access your personal data, ask us to correct inaccurate data, object to or request restriction of processing, and request deletion of data that is not subject to a legal retention requirement. You may also lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below; we may verify your identity before acting on a request.
Children
Clockwyze is a workplace application for employed adults. It is not directed at, and must not be used by, anyone under 18.
Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
